A welcome space for the community

In 1890 “The Baths” opened at MLC, marking the beginning of a long and proud history of swimming and water safety. MLC students have been at the forefront of participating in organised swimming/ aquatic programs and competitions ever since.

MLC Swimming offers both MLC and non-MLC students an opportunity to extend their skills by participating in our community based after-school Learn to Swim and swim squad programs. Our competitive squad pathway is recognised as a nationally high-ranking club for competitive athletes, both male and female.
Our dedicated coaching team aims to foster a lifelong love of swimming, diving and water safety for all participants.

Our extensive pathways program allows swmmers to develop from the age of 3 in our toddler pool, through to District Squad or Competivie Squad (MLC Aquatic).

It's a beautiful thing, diving into the cool crisp water and then just sort of being able to pull your body through the water and the water opening up for you.
